Pizza

Add two cups of flour to a mixing bowl followed by one packet of yeast and then turn on the mixer. Add one and one half teaspoons of salt and continue mixing. Slowly add in one and one half cups of warm water with two tablespoons of olive oil as the mixing continues. Once the mixture gets smooth add two cups of flour, one tablespoon at a time, while continuing the mixing process. Remove dough and knead. Set aside and let rise for approximately forty-five minutes. Kneed again and divide into four sections. Form into pizza shapes.

Add corn meal to coat a pizza stone and then place dough on top of that. Cover dough with pizza sauce, sprinkle on mozzarella cheese, add bell peppers and onion followed by pepperoni. Add a little more pizza sauce and then sprinkle on parmesan cheese. Place in an oven that has been preheated to 400 degrees and watch for the crust to brown.

Focaccia Bread

Add one third of a cup of warm water to a mixing bowl, turn on the mixer, add one packet of yeast and one teaspoon of sugar. Add two cups of flour, one tablespoon at a time, while the mixing continues. You may need some more water depending on the mixture. Remove from bowl and kneed together to mix all the ingredients. Set aside to rise. Remove from bowl and kneed the dough. Roll out dough with rolling pin and shape into loaf. Add olive oil to grease a cookie sheet. Place dough on sheet and dimple the dough with your fingers. Add olive oil and salt or add a garlic paste and spread onto dough. Place in an oven preheated to 475 degrees until done.
